History of Ireland Gold Collection The History of Ireland collection is a range of hand-crafted jewellery that portrays the history of Ireland in a series of historical panels evocative of the panels on the Celtic High Crosses that were once found all over Ireland. Each panel represents a different period in Irish history which are all explained in the booklet which accompanies each item. Designed by Michael Hilliar the collection consists of both gold and silver jewellery including rings, pendants, bracelets and cufflinks. Children of Lir Gold Collection Children of Lir Gold Collection This stunning collection is based on an old Irish legend which tells the story of the four children of King Lir.  After their mother died, the King remarried.  However his new wife was evil and cast a spell over her four step-children that turned them into Swans.  Only the sound of a church bell could break the spell.  The childred lived as swans for 900 years until one day they heard the sound of a church bell.
