CHILDREN OF LIR COLLECTION The children of Lir range of Jewelry is based on an old Irish myth. The ancient Irish King Lir had four children, Fionnuala, Aedh, Fiachra and Conn.  Aoife, the second wife of Lir, in a jealous rage turned the children into swans and banished them to spend 300 years on Lake Derravaragh, 300 years on Inis Glora and 300 years on the Sea of Moyle. However she left them with their human voices and people came from miles around to hear the beautiful singing of the swans. This haunting Celtic myth is the inspiration for this beautiful contemporary collection.
