BELLEEK BELLEEK CELEBRATED 150 YEARS IN 2007. Belleek China is handcrafted to perfection. When it was first founded in 1857, the pottery's founder declared that any piece with even the slightest flaw would be destroyed and 150 years later, this golden rule is still strictly adhered with. When a customer purchases a piece of Belleek China they become the owner of a truly original piece of Irish craftsmanship, made using material and techniques handed down from generation to generation. No two pieces are ever the same. Every handle, flower and brush stroke is lovingly applied by hand to create the look and the feel that is uniquely Belleek. The Belleek Trademark consists of an an Irish Wolfhound, a round Tower and an Irish Harp, with two sprigs of shamrock bordering the ends of a banner which contains the word BELLEEK in capital letters. NEWBRIDGE SILVERWARE Newbridge Silverware began production in Newbridge, Co. Kildare in 1935.  The first product they began making were knives, they then broadened production into forks and spoons.  In 1995, the company launched Newbridge Jewellery.  This collection comprised a range of EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel silver) Pendants, Bangles, Bracelets, Earrings, rings and Brooches.  The range now also includes Wristwatches.
