The Children of Lir Jewellery Collection:
This is a range of Irish jewellery inspired by a haunting ancient Irish legend. It tells the story of King Lir, who had four children - Fionnuala, Fiacra, Conn and Aed. Unfortunately his wife Aoibh died and Lear later married her sister Aoife who was so jealous of the children that she used her magic to turn them into swans. The one human thing they were left with was their beautiful singing voices and people would come from afar to hear them sing. After 900 years when the Bell of Saint Kemoch rang out, the swans were turned back into humans. They were now frail but died happily, buried together with the oldest Fionnuala in the middle, the youngest Aed resting against her, and Fiacra and Conn on either side. The Collection consists of pendants, rings, earrings and brooches in 9K Gold and Sterling Silver.
