Legend has it, that St Christopher carried a child across a very dangerous river. Halfway across the rive the child became very heavy. Revealing himself to be Jesus carrying the sins of the world, it was a staggering weight for St Christopher to carry, who nonetheless prevailed. Earning him the patron saint of all travelers, keeping them safe and protected on their journeys.
